GWAS Analysis Workshop

ONLINE: April 27 to April 29, 2021

Hosted in 3 consecutive days with two (morning and afternoon) 2.5 hours sessions.

A three-day short course for researchers or students wanting to learn how to analyze Genome Wide Association Study (GWAS) dataset. The course serves two primary goals; teach participant sufficient R and RStudio basic to perform GWAS analysis using packages implemented in the R software. The workshop presents fundamental concepts and specific R software tools for implementing a complete GWAS analysis, as well as post-analytic visualization and interrogation of potentially novel findings.

  • Using a single statistical programming platform (R) that runs on all three major computing platforms (Windows, Macs and Linux)
  • The analysis can be performed in a modern laptop computer system with 8 GB of RAM.
  • Hands on experience with real GWAS data.
