Ashley Dafoe is a Senior Qualitative Analyst with the Qualitative and Mixed Methods Core at ACCORDS. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Wyoming and an M.A. in Applied Anthropology from Mississippi State University, where her thesis examined the intersection of policy, racism, and health in the Jim Crow era deep South. At ACCORDS, Ashley provides qualitative expertise across a wide range of health services research projects and particularly enjoys supporting training grants and working with research fellows. She has experience in diverse qualitative methods, including rapid/matrix analysis and conversation analysis. Her work is driven by a commitment to advancing health equity through rigorous qualitative research and collaboration. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys quilting, reading, and baking.
