Biostatistician Associate Professor or Professor; Tenure Track Core Lead 

The Department of Biostatistics and Informatics and the ACCORDS (Adult and Child Center for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science) program have an opening for a full-time position at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor in the tenure track.  We are seeking applicants with a strong track record of both collaborative and independent research with a focus on health services research and other areas of T3-T4 science. This is a full-time, 12-month position, to start as soon as possible with substantial non-grant secure funding for consultation and development roles.  The Biostatistics Core will be essential in achieving ACCORDS’s research and educational missions.

Dissemination & Implementation Scientist; Assistant Professor

The Adult and Child Consortium for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a full-time Assistant or Associate Research Professor. This position is within the Qualitative and Mixed Methods Research Core within ACCORDS, and thus requires health-related research experience and expertise in qualitative and mixed methods research. Specific areas of interest include in-depth and key informant interviews and focus group methods as well as expertise in qualitative and mixed methods research design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

This faculty position will have their academic affiliation in the Department of Family Medicine and will be a member of a well-established Qualitative and Mixed Methods core in ACCORDS, a research center supporting the advancement of health services research and T3-T4 translational research that is jointly funded by the School of Medicine and Children’s Hospital Colorado Research Institute.  ACCORDS serves as the focal point for health care professionals, researchers and analysts from across the Anschutz Medical Campus to foster multidisciplinary collaborations that bring together our campus’ diverse skills and talents to pursue health services research and education.  In addition, ACCORDS cultivates strong research and educational collaborations with external partners including the University of Colorado School of Public Health, Children’s Hospital Colorado, Denver Health, Kaiser Permanente Colorado, UCHealth, other health care delivery systems, community organizations, and state and local government agencies.  ACCORDS has programs in Dissemination and Implementation Science, Patient-Centered Decision Making, Education, Data Science and Community Engagement and Outreach, as well as cores in Qualitative and Mixed Methods Science, Practice-Based Research Networks (PBRNs), Biostatistics for Health Services Research, and Mobile Health and Health Information Technology (HIT).

Grants & Contracts Coordinator

The Grants and Contracts Professional (open rank) supports ACCORDS research functions which include research grants, investigator initiated studies and program grants. This individual will act as a resource for this consortium and will be expected to work independently, as well as collaboratively with ACCORDS Principal Investigators in the grant/contract process including development, submission, receipt, and reporting. The Grants and Contracts Professional is responsible for the application of and compliance with Federal, State, Private Foundation, and University policies and procedures as they relate to grant and contracts submission, receipt, management, and reporting. This position requires previous experience in pre OR post award research administration.

Professional Research Assistant (PRA); Bilingual

The Adult and Child Consortium for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) has an opening for a full-time (100% effort) bilingual (English/Spanish) Professional Research Assistant (PRA) to work for an NIH-funded project focused on addressing disparities in early childhood obesity in low-income Latino populations.  The specific focus of this work is on predictors and outcomes of early childhood screen media use.

This exciting opportunity includes working in the community and in clinics to collect data.  The PRA will conduct phone interviews, in clinic data collection, and delivery and pick-up of study equipment at participant homes, following COVID safety precautions.

Professional Research Assistant (PRA)

The Adult and Child Consortium for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) has an opening for a full-time (100% effort) entry-level Professional Research Assistant (PRA) to work for a National Heart, Lung, Blood and Sleep Institute (NHLBI)-funded project focused on reducing asthma attacks in disadvantaged school children with asthma. This project focuses on coordinating asthma care and addressing social determinants of health needs among families, schools and health providers.  The project occurs through communities in Colorado with an emphasis on rural communities.

The Adult and Child Consortium for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) has an opening for a full-time entry-level Professional Research Assistant (PRA) on the INTERACT Trial (Improving Communication and Healthcare Outcomes for Patients with Communication Disabilities). This position is for an entry level research team member and is well-suited for someone that is collaborative in nature and excels at data collection, developing data reports, interviewing, and intervention implementation in clinical settings.

Qualitative Assistant or Associate Professor

The Adult and Child Consortium for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a full-time Assistant or Associate Research Professor. This position is within the Qualitative and Mixed Methods Research Core within ACCORDS, and thus requires health-related research experience and expertise in qualitative and mixed methods research. Specific areas of interest include in-depth and key informant interviews and focus group methods as well as expertise in qualitative and mixed methods research design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation. The successful candidate will be a methodologist in the ACCORDS Qualitative and Mixed Methods Core and have opportunities to collaborate with over 70 ACCORDS affiliated faculty and other health services researchers from the Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Public Health, Dental Medicine and the College of Nursing.

Senior Professional Research Assistant/Program Manager - CPPCD

The Colorado Program for Patient-Centered Decisions (CPPCD) in partnership with the Adult and Child Consortium for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) has an opening for a full-time Senior Professional Research Assistant (SrPRA) to support growing research endeavors of the CPPCD. The CPPCD takes a broad view of shared decision-making and brings together multidisciplinary expertise in development of materials, measurement of outcomes, and implementation into practice settings. This group currently consists of 4 core principal investigators that have been successful in obtaining funding from the NIH, the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), the American Heart Association (AHA) and several foundations.​

The CPPCD Program Manager will be responsible for providing research support as a program manager to project investigators, assists with implementing evaluation and research protocols, utilizes both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and assists with the CPPCD programmatic needs, such as staffing, budget management, and other duties, as needed.  The Sr. PRA assists in all phases of study design (e.g., literature reviews, grant writing, budget preparation), implementation (e.g., developing human subjects’ protocols and project materials, data collection and tracking, practice recruitment, budget administration and tracking, supervision of research support staff/students, as needed) and dissemination (e.g., creating presentations, writing final reports/manuscripts).  The ideal candidate will have experience managing federally funded research grants, quantitative and qualitative research training, and strong interpersonal skills.

Senior Professional Research Assistant/Project Manager - Primary Care Research Training Fellowship

The Adult and Child Consortium for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) has an opening for a part-time up to full-time (.50 – 1.0 FTE) Senior PRA who has experience with project management and research methods to manage a Primary Care Research Training Fellowship program and Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment (CDPHE) studies promoting uptake of COVID-19 vaccines among rural adolescents. ACCORDS has a portfolio of research studies focused on health services research and implementation science that engage diverse patient populations, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders. This SrPRA position exists to provide research support to principal investigators/fellowship directors, co-directors and fellows. Additionally, the Sr. PRA assists in all phases of study design (e.g., literature reviews, grant writing, budget preparation), implementation (e.g., developing human subjects’ protocols and project materials, data collection and tracking, practice recruitment, budget administration and tracking, supervision of research support staff/students, as needed) and dissemination (e.g., creating presentations, writing final reports/manuscripts).  The ideal candidate will have project management experience managing federally funded research grants, quantitative and qualitative research training, and strong interpersonal skills. The selected candidate will be the project manager on newly awarded HRSA T32 research fellowship training program and CDPHE studies.

The Adult and Child Consortium for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) has an opening for a full-time Professional Research Assistant (PRA)/Senior Professional Research Assistant who has experience with qualitative research methods. ACCORDS has a portfolio of research studies focused on health services research or implementation science that engage diverse patient populations, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders. This position will work on practice- and community-based research projects and will provide research support by assisting with qualitative data collection, coding, and possibly tool development, regulatory needs, analysis, and reporting. The position may also involve assisting with general project needs, such as staffing, budget management, and other duties as determined by study Principal Investigators. The ideal candidate will have experience and training in qualitative research data collection and coding, working on teams, and experience with developing and submitting institutional review board protocols for pragmatic trials or health services research studies.
