Biostatistician Associate Professor or Professor; Tenure Track Core Lead 

The Department of Biostatistics and Informatics and the ACCORDS (Adult and Child Center for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science) program have an opening for a full-time position at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor in the tenure track.  We are seeking applicants with a strong track record of both collaborative and independent research with a focus on health services research and other areas of T3-T4 science. This is a full-time, 12-month position, to start as soon as possible with substantial non-grant secure funding for consultation and development roles.  The Biostatistics Core will be essential in achieving ACCORDS’ research and educational missions.

Biostatistician Research Assistant/Associate Professor

The Colorado School of Public Health (ColoradoSPH) has an opening for a full-time position at the rank of Research Assistant Professor or Research Associate Professor.  This position will be based primarily at ACCORDS—the Adult and Child Consortium for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science—a program that is jointly funded by the School of Medicine and Children’s Hospital Colorado to support the growth of outcomes and T3-T4 translational research. The successful candidate will be a faculty member in the Department of Biostatistics and Informatics (BIOS), one of five departments in the Colorado School of Public Health (ColoradoSPH). Faculty and students in the Department apply analytic methods, statistical reasoning and information management techniques to health data in medical and public health fields. Professional and research activities include the design and analysis in basic, applied and translational research, design and analysis of clinical trials, statistical consulting, development of new statistical methods, disease information services, research databases and more.

Dissemination & Implementation Scientist; Assistant Professor

The Adult and Child Consortium for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a full-time Assistant or Associate Research Professor. This position is within the Qualitative and Mixed Methods Research Core within ACCORDS, and thus requires health-related research experience and expertise in qualitative and mixed methods research. Specific areas of interest include in-depth and key informant interviews and focus group methods as well as expertise in qualitative and mixed methods research design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

This faculty position will have their academic affiliation in the Department of Family Medicine and will be a member of a well-established Qualitative and Mixed Methods core in ACCORDS, a research center supporting the advancement of health services research and T3-T4 translational research that is jointly funded by the School of Medicine and Children’s Hospital Colorado Research Institute.  ACCORDS serves as the focal point for health care professionals, researchers, and analysts from across the Anschutz Medical Campus to foster multidisciplinary collaborations that bring together our campus’ diverse skills and talents to pursue health services research and education.  In addition, ACCORDS cultivates strong research and educational collaborations with external partners including the University of Colorado School of Public Health, Children’s Hospital Colorado, Denver Health, Kaiser Permanente Colorado, UCHealth, other health care delivery systems, community organizations, and state and local government agencies.  ACCORDS has programs in Dissemination and Implementation Science, Patient-Centered Decision Making, Education, Data Science and Community Engagement and Outreach, as well as cores in Qualitative and Mixed Methods Science, Practice-Based Research Networks (PBRNs), Biostatistics for Health Services Research, and Mobile Health and Health Information Technology (HIT).

Professional Research Assistant / Senior Professional Research Assistant

The Adult and Child Consortium for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) has an opening for a full-time Professional Research Assistant (PRA)/Senior Professional Research Assistant (SrPRA) who has experience with health service research projects. ACCORDS has a portfolio of research studies focused on health services research or implementation science that engage diverse patient populations, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders. This position will work on practice- and community-based research projects and will provide research support by assisting with project coordination, regulatory needs, analysis, and reporting. The position may also involve assisting with general project needs, such as staffing, budget management, and other duties as determined by study Principal Investigators. The ideal candidate will have experience in health services research in a university setting, working on teams, and experience with developing and submitting institutional review board protocols for pragmatic trials or health services research studies.

Qualitative Assistant or Associate Professor

The Adult and Child Consortium for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a full-time Assistant or Associate Research Professor. This position is within the Qualitative and Mixed Methods Research Core within ACCORDS, and thus requires health-related research experience and expertise in qualitative and mixed methods research. Specific areas of interest include in-depth and key informant interviews and focus group methods as well as expertise in qualitative and mixed methods research design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation. The successful candidate will be a methodologist in the ACCORDS Qualitative and Mixed Methods Core and have opportunities to collaborate with over 70 ACCORDS affiliated faculty and other health services researchers from the Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Public Health, Dental Medicine and the College of Nursing.
