  separately)About this Two-Day Workshop:This two-day virtual workshop is i
 ntended to prepare interdisciplinary providers to deliver Facing Your Fear
 s (FYF) either virtually or in-person. FYF is a 14-week\, evidence-based m
 anualized group cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) program for supporting au
 tistic youth (ages 8-14) to effectively manage their anxiety. FYF may be d
 elivered in group settings or individually. This two-day workshop will inc
 lude the identification of anxiety in autistic youth\, an overview of CBT 
 for anxiety\, and a review of the FYF program\, delivered both in person a
 s well as virtually\, all through a neuroaffirming perspective. Session by
  session review of FYF will also occur. Video recorded examples of selecte
 d activities will be shown throughout the training.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;FY
 F has been adapted for school settings and for autistic teens with intelle
 ctual disabilities. A brief review of these adaptations will be covered du
 ring the training\, but participants will not be specifically trained in e
 ither program during this workshop.We hope to offer a training specific to
  the Facing Your Fears in Schools (FYF-S) program later in the year.&nbsp\

 will NOT be recorded. Enrollment will be limited to ensure an optimal envi
 ronment for participation and robust discussion. Participants will engage 
 in small group activities to include role-play and other hands-on approach
 es.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Instructors:Judy Reaven\, PhD is a Professo
 r of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medi
 cal Campus. She is the Interim Director at JFK Partners\, the University C
 enter for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities in Colorado. Clinical a
 nd research interests include identifying and treating mental health sympt
 oms in autism\, as well as the implementation of evidence-based interventi
 ons in community settings\, including schools. She is the primary develope
 r of the Facing Your Fears (FYF) program\, a cognitive behavior therapy (C
 BT) program for managing anxiety in autistic youth. She is a clinical psyc
 hologist and has been PI on many federal/foundation grants and has co-auth
 ored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters\, many related 
 to the co-occurrence of anxiety disorders in autism.Lindsey DeVries\, PhD 
 is a clinical psychologist and an Assistant Professor at the University of
  Colorado School of Medicine and practicing psychologist with Developmenta
 l Pediatrics at Children&rsquo\;s Hospital Colorado. She provides diagnost
 ic and therapy services to youth with developmental disabilities and their
  families through Developmental Pediatrics at Children&rsquo\;s Hospital C
 olorado. She specializes in school-age and adolescent youth with co-occurr
 ing mental health conditions as well as reproductive health in individuals
  with autism.&nbsp\;Lisa Hayutin\, PhD is a clinical psychologist and Asso
 ciate Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She prov
 ides diagnostic and therapy services for youth with developmental disabili
 ties through Developmental Pediatrics at Children&rsquo\;s Hospital Colora
 do\, specializing in school age and adolescent youth with co-occurring men
 tal health conditions. Dr. Hayutin is committed to expanding access to car
 e\, teaching interdisciplinary trainees at the hospital and primary care p
 roviders across the state and country about understanding and meeting the 
 needs of people with autism and other developmental disabilities. Her rese
 arch has focused on developing and disseminating evidence-based mental hea
 lth care to neurodivergent learners.&nbsp\;Ainsley Losh\, PhD is a license
 d psychologist and Assistant Professor in Developmental Pediatrics at the 
 University of Colorado School of Medicine. She works with school-aged and 
 adolescent autistic youth in assessment\, intervention\, and research cont
 exts and is particularly interested in supporting autistic youth with co-o
 ccurring mental health conditions in clinical and school settings.Caitlin 
 Middleton\, PhD is a clinical psychologist and an Associate Professor at t
 he University of Colorado School of Medicine and practicing psychologist w

 rovides evidence-based assessment and intervention of youth of all ages wi
 th neurodevelopmental conditions. Dr. Middleton is committed to community 
 teaching and training the next generation of psychologists who specialize 
 in autism and related conditions. Her research and clinical interests incl
 ude the assessment and intervention of autism and co-occurring mental heal
 th conditions\, sexual and reproductive health in individuals with autism\

 :&nbsp\;Participants must have an advanced degree and may be from a variet
 y of professional backgrounds\, including psychologists\, social workers\,

 lth providers be included as part of the program delivery\, either as part
  of the facilitator team if delivering FYF in a group setting\, or in an o
