The Marcus Institute for Brain Health (MIBH) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is a clinical care and research institute for traumatic brain injury (TBI) and psychological health (PH) conditions such as post-traumatic stress (PTS). Our mission is to deliver in-depth, interdisciplinary precision medicine to Active Service Members, Veterans, and First Responders with ongoing symptoms following a mild to moderate TBI.
At the MIBH, we offer comprehensive care for the physical, emotional, and cognitive changes that can accompany trauma to the head. We emphasize detailed evaluation and treatment, working to relieve the symptoms by addressing the root causes.
Patients access experts in brain health and become the most important member of their own care team. At the MIBH, patients and staff are in it together.
All appropriate applicants will be considered, regardless of ability to pay for travel, lodging, and/or services provided at MIBH

The MIBH provides specialty care for military Veterans, First Responders, and Active Duty struggling with mild-to-moderate traumatic brain injuries (including concussion) and changes in psychological health. Patients at the MIBH are treated as a person first. We welcome Veterans of any discharge status.
Our intensive, outpatient program combines the best tools in traditional rehabilitation with complementary medicines so you can heal. At the MIBH, we are here to help because there may be nothing “mild” about mild to moderate TBI.
